About MINNESOTA VIPASSANA ASSOCIATION

The Minnesota Vipassana Association (EIN 41-1962931) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports Vipassana meditation activities in the Upper Midwest and is the sponsoring organization for Dhamma Visuddhi, a regional Vipassana meditation center located in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Property acquisition and development

Secured a permanent center site in Menomonie (site acquired by the association’s board) and has advanced development planning to add new student accommodations and campus improvements.

Mortgage reduction and financial milestone (2024–2025)

Reported donations in 2024 that allowed a significant reduction of mortgage principal on the center property and was on track to pay off the remaining balance in early 2025, strengthening the association’s financial position.
