About THE GERMANIC-AMERICAN INSTITUTE

The Germanic‑American Institute (GAI) is a Saint Paul, Minnesota nonprofit cultural and language center that promotes German language instruction, cultural programs, and public events. It operates a full suite of language services for adults and youth, including the Kinderstube German Immersion preschool, Samstagsschule, summer camps, proficiency exams, and community events such as St. Paul Oktoberfest. GAI serves both learners seeking structured language education and the general public through exhibitions, lectures, and cultural programming. The organization is an active Goethe‑Institut Kulturgesellschaft partner and stewards the historic George W.
