About INNERCITY TENNIS FOUNDATION

InnerCity Tennis Foundation (ICT) is a Minneapolis-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (est. 1952) that uses tennis as a vehicle for youth development. The organization operates the Reed Sweatt Family Tennis Center and delivers year-round outreach programs in Minneapolis parks, schools, and partner sites.

ICT provides a pathway of programming for ages 3–18 — including in-school and after-school classes, Summer Tennis in the Parks, Super Saturdays, Cities Academy and competitive play — pairing athletic instruction with academic support, values education and mentorship.

ICT explicitly serves diverse and disadvantaged youth (including at-risk kids, children of color, children from low-income families, and children on the autism spectrum), and maintains audited financial statements and substantial program activity (program expenses totaled roughly $2.8M in 2024) to support ongoing outreach and facility operations.
