TWIN CITIES OPERA GUILD INC

Twin Cities Opera Guild (TCOG) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1952 that funds and promotes opera and music education for children and the general public. The Guild operates primarily through member fundraising, twice-yearly grant cycles, and community events to underwrite in-school productions, artist residencies, student matinees, after-school music programs, and summer music activities.

In recent years TCOG has remained active in grantmaking across the Upper Midwest, distributing substantial grant funds to schools and youth music programs and supporting initiatives such as awards for vocal students. The organization has continued to modernize operations (including hiring its first part-time paid program administrator) while maintaining regular public events and benefit fundraisers to support grant programs.
