MINNESOTA UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST SOCIAL JUSTICE ALLIANCE

MUUSJA is a statewide Unitarian Universalist social-justice network that connects congregations across Minnesota (and neighboring North and South Dakota) to organize on human-rights, climate, and democratic-engagement issues. The organization builds capacity in congregations through training, coaching, coordinated campaigns, and shared action, serving as the UUA state action network for UU the Vote in Minnesota.

In recent years MUUSJA has led coordinated voter-engagement work (including UU the Vote activities in 2024), climate and Indigenous-rights solidarity actions (including engagement around Line 3 and allied partnerships), and state-level advocacy on voting-rights and social-policy bills. MUUSJA maintains an active web presence, publishes campaign resources, and collaborates with statewide and national partner organizations to amplify UU congregational power.
