About Adventure Unlimited

Adventure Unlimited is a Denver–area 501(c)(3) nonprofit that operates the A/U Ranches (camp and outdoor programs), DiscoveryBound (local outreach chapters and fellowship), and the 100 Elk Outdoor Center. The organization traces its program history to the mid-1950s and is organized to serve Christian Science youth, adults and families while also offering outdoor education and secular school-group programs. Through resident camps, leadership training (National Leadership Council and Compass), outreach chapters, and the 100 Elk Outdoor Center, Adventure Unlimited runs year-round programs focused on outdoor adventure, spiritual growth, service, and life skills. Programs include mountain and water activities, horsemanship, ropes courses, and school outdoor-education offerings. In recent years the organization has maintained multi-million-dollar annual revenues and a strong balance sheet while receiving significant philanthropic support for scholarships and capital projects; it continues to file annual Form 990s and operate its Greenwood Village headquarters and Colorado ranch facilities.
