About YOUNG CATHOLIC PROFESSIONALS

Young Catholic Professionals (YCP) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Irving, Texas, that builds community for Catholic young adults in their 20s and 30s by connecting faith, career, and community. Founded with its first event in 2010, YCP supports local chapters, regular speaker and formation events, mentorship programs, and an annual national conference.

In recent years YCP has expanded its footprint and programming: it grew to dozens of chapters across the United States, staged increasingly large national conferences (hundreds of participants), and published annual year-in-review reports highlighting chapter activity, mentorship outcomes, and national partnerships. The organization maintains an active web presence and regular news updates that document local service projects, chapter launches, leadership transitions, and national gatherings.

National chapter growth — 40+ chapters

Between 2023–2025 YCP expanded its chapter network nationally, reaching 40+ active chapters and launching new local groups in multiple states, increasing peer-mentorship and local formation opportunities.

Largest national conferences to date

YCP’s annual national conferences in 2024–2025 saw record participation (hundreds of young professionals, with a documented conference gathering of 600+ professionals in 2025), providing large-scale formation, networking, and vocational programming.

Sustained organizational growth since founding

From its first event in 2010, YCP transitioned to a formal 501(c)(3) organization, professionalized its national staff and governance, and celebrated its 15th anniversary of sustained programming and outreach in 2025.
