SAN FRANCISCO ACHIEVERS

San Francisco Achievers is a San Francisco–based 501(c)(3) that provides college scholarships, mentorship, academic monitoring, and career-readiness supports for African American young men in SFUSD. The organization recruits across San Francisco public and charter high schools and delivers a mix of high-school and college‑level services (scholarships, mentoring, leadership development, and workforce exposure) to improve matriculation and graduation outcomes. In the last 2–3 years SFA has continued to expand programming and cohort size (serving dozens of current Achievers across multiple high schools), hosted wellness and career events (including its Pharaoh’s Court wellness conference in 2026), and run national exposure trips (e.g., Washington, D.C. in 2023). SFA publishes annual reports and Form 990s and reports measurable progress toward multi-year impact targets focused on scholarships, internships, and career readiness.
