About Children's Institute (Children's Institute, Inc.)

Children's Institute is a Los Angeles–based nonprofit that delivers trauma-informed mental health care, early childhood education, family support, school-based services and community health programs for children and caregivers in underinvested communities. The organization uses a whole-family approach across the early life course and school years, operating multiple campus- and community-based programs and serving roughly 30,000 children and families annually according to its recent reporting. In the last 2–3 years Children’s Institute has expanded community health initiatives (including Enhanced Care Management), sustained its REACH services for children exposed to violence, and produced resources for immigrant families while publishing its FY2024–2025 annual report documenting these activities.
