MY POSSIBILITIES FOUNDATION

My Possibilities Foundation (EIN 45-1838041) is the philanthropic arm that raises planned gifts, endowments and other philanthropic support to sustain My Possibilities’ Campus for Higher Learning (Plano) and residential programs (Garland) serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The foundation was originally formed as the LaunchAbility Foundation (2011), became part of My Possibilities through an organizational acquisition and was renamed to focus on long-term endowment and legacy giving. In recent years the foundation has acted as the primary vehicle for capital and legacy fundraising to support workforce development, residential supports and program expansion for the HIPster community. The foundation is an active, donor-facing entity within the My Possibilities organization and publishes annual/year-in-review materials and fundraising initiatives for supporters. Operationally the foundation functions as a catalyst for sustainability—raising multi-year gifts, enabling planned giving, and partnering with donors and community stakeholders to expand educational, vocational and residential opportunities for adults with IDD in North Texas.
