About FREE THE CAPTIVES

Free the Captives is a Houston-area, faith-informed nonprofit (tax-exempt since 2011) focused on preventing the sexual exploitation of adolescents and providing aftercare and recovery services to young survivors. The organization operates victim-aftercare programming (branded as Victim Aftercare / New Creations) that combines direct services, mentoring and job-creation opportunities for teenage trafficking survivors. Free the Captives also conducts public awareness and training activities — including annual conferences and community events — to educate families, churches, schools and local partners about trafficking risks and response.
