About Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT)

Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Englewood, Colorado that trains and mobilizes transportation industry workers, law enforcement, and partner organizations to recognize and report suspected human trafficking. The organization develops free industry-specific training, runs the Freedom Drivers Project mobile exhibit, convenes public-private coalition builds, and operates outreach programs for carriers, shippers, transit systems, schools and energy companies. In recent years TAT has scaled its training and outreach across the United States and Canada, expanding law enforcement briefings and industry partnerships. The organization reports large increases in registered trainees, coalition events, Freedom Drivers Project tours, and corporate/shipper partnerships, and continues to partner with major carriers and transportation associations to embed anti-trafficking awareness into industry practice.

Expanded Freedom Drivers Project (FDP)

The Freedom Drivers Project continued touring nationwide in recent years, providing thousands of exhibit tours and community engagement events to raise awareness along major transportation corridors.

Increased law enforcement and institutional training

In 2023 TAT reported training multiple thousands of law enforcement officers and expanding coalition builds and industry briefings across U.S. states and Canadian provinces, strengthening public–private coordination to detect and respond to trafficking.
