About FOUR FREEDOMS PARK CONSERVANCY INC

Four Freedoms Park Conservancy, Inc. is a New York–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 45-2716646) founded in 2011 that serves as the principal steward and programming partner for Roosevelt Four Freedoms State Park on Roosevelt Island. The Conservancy led fundraising to realize Louis Kahn’s design for the memorial and continues to manage visitor-facing programming, exhibitions, and educational initiatives in partnership with New York State Parks. In the past 2–3 years the Conservancy has expanded public programming and launched a new public-art commissioning program (Art X Freedom), including a major inaugural commission in 2025, while publishing audited financial statements and maintaining public Form 990 filings. The organization regularly produces family and community programs (concerts, talks, workshops), operates a digital FDR educational resource, and receives municipal and philanthropic support for park programming and stewardship.
