About WEST MICHIGAN MIRACLE LEAGUE

West Michigan Miracle League (WMML) is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) organization that provides adaptive baseball programming and an accessible ballpark experience for children and adults with disabilities. The league operates Nate Hurwitz Field at the Meijer Sports Complex (Rockford, MI) and runs seasonal youth and adult leagues, volunteer “buddy” programs, special events, and scholarship-supported registrations.

WMML focuses on inclusion and community integration through regular programming (kids and adult seasons), outreach events, and capital projects that improve accessibility — most recently raising funds for the second phase of an inclusive playground adjacent to Nate Hurwitz Field. Publicly filed Form 990 records through 2023–2024 show ongoing revenue and net assets consistent with an active, operating charity supporting field operations and program delivery.

The organization maintains active community partnerships and donor campaigns (brick campaign, Legacy Fund, monthly giving) and promotes volunteer engagement and local sponsorships to sustain and expand player services and facility improvements.
