About Swaniti Initiative

Swaniti Initiative (operating as Swaniti Global in many program materials) is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2012 that provides research, policy advice, and on-the-ground technical assistance to governments, elected representatives and development actors to improve public service delivery and policy implementation in India and other emerging markets. The organization combines applied research, data tools, and field-level implementation support — with recent program emphasis on energy transition, subnational renewable energy policy, and strengthening governance and service delivery systems. In recent years Swaniti has expanded its research outputs and secured multi-year institutional funding to scale advisory and programmatic work, while reporting substantial program spending relative to overall expenses.
