About SISTER EFFECT INC

SISTER EFFECT INC (doing business as OneTribe) is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded to support peacebuilding, trauma healing, and livelihood programming in war-affected communities, primarily in South Sudan, Sudan and neighboring countries. The organization develops and distributes Christ-centered radio drama, community peace workshops, pastoral training, and women’s livelihood programs to help communities move from cycles of violence to sustainable, locally-led peace. In recent years (2022–2024) the organization expanded program deployment into Sudan’s Nuba Mountains and refugee-hosting areas in northern Uganda, launched new agricultural and leadership initiatives (Regenerate; Prevent Stop Restore) to address food insecurity and local conflict prevention, and reported growing financial support that funded broader regional operations.

Notable achievements

OneTribe’s radio dramas have reached an estimated more than 25 million listeners across multiple African countries, using local languages and partner radio networks to scale peace messaging.
