About MODERN QUILT GUILD INC

The Modern Quilt Guild (MQG) is a national/international 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization incorporated in California that promotes modern quilting through education, exhibitions, and local chapters. The organization operates an active online resource library and member community and supports local guilds and individual makers with programming, events, and leadership resources. MQG produces QuiltCon, a juried annual conference and quilt show that draws thousands of attendees and exhibitors worldwide, and runs member programs (swaps, sew-alongs, workshops) that have continued to expand in the last 2–3 years. In its 2022–2023 annual report MQG reported record membership and event attendance (over 18,000 members worldwide during the 2022–23 year) and documented community outreach activity including funds raised from member-donated Community Outreach Quilts.
