BEAT THE STREETS - LOS ANGELES INC

Beat the Streets – Los Angeles is a 501(c)(3) youth development nonprofit founded in January 2012 that delivers free and low‑cost community and after‑school wrestling programs across Los Angeles and surrounding communities. The organization uses wrestling as a vehicle for physical health, character development, and academic support, and operates year‑round programming, clinics, camps, leadership workshops (Tomorrow’s Leaders), coach training, scholarship and empowerment grant initiatives. In recent years Beat the Streets LA has published annual impact reports and tax filings, expanded partnerships and program sites (including a recent effort to support Bay Area programs), and continued to grow competitive and outreach activities—bringing student‑athletes to national competitions and hosting regional events and all‑girls tournaments. The organization maintains public transparency by posting its IRS determination letter and Form 990s on its website and runs community-facing fundraising and volunteer efforts to sustain programming. Beat the Streets LA focuses on measurable youth impact (skill mastery, healthy living, improved academic outcomes, and leadership development) and leverages coach/mentor training and alumni engagement to scale programming and support underserved students into high school, college and beyond.
