About TASTE PROJECT

Taste Project is a donor-facing 501(c)(3) nonprofit that operates pay-what-you-can full-service community restaurants and related programs to address food insecurity in Tarrant County. Its model combines accessible dining with workforce development, offering paid culinary apprenticeship, nutrition education, and community food programs. The organization operates multiple Taste Community Restaurant locations (Fort Worth and Arlington) and partners with local foundations, municipalities, and workforce organizations to scale services and training. In recent years Taste Project expanded operations into downtown Arlington and increased program and fundraising capacity to support growth and community impact. Taste Project emphasizes dignity and inclusion—serving people regardless of means while engaging volunteers and donors to sustain free or reduced-cost access to healthy meals and job training opportunities.
