About EARLY CHILDHOOD COUNCIL LEADERSHIP ALLIANCE

The Early Childhood Council Leadership Alliance (ECCLA) is a Colorado-based membership organization that began as an informal collaboration in 1998 and now serves as the statewide association for local Early Childhood Councils. ECCLA’s work focuses on capacity building, policy advocacy, workforce supports, and fostering partnerships that improve outcomes for young children and families across Colorado. ECCLA represents and supports local councils across the state (the organization functions as the membership hub for Colorado’s Early Childhood Councils), delivering technical assistance, professional development, scholarship and grant programs for early childhood professionals, and coordinating regional convenings and partnership initiatives with state agencies. In recent years ECCLA has partnered with the Colorado Department of Early Childhood on regional professional development and system-building activities and has continued to offer workforce scholarships, coaching credential support, and family child care improvement grants.
