About CONNECTING POINT OF PARK CITIES

Connecting Point of Park Cities (CPPC) is a Dallas-based 501(c)(3) that operates a community-based day program for adults who have aged out of school. The program focuses on communication, activities of daily living, pre-vocational skills, socialization and community integration through art, music, outings, volunteer opportunities and vocational experiences. Founded by families and community members and opened in June 2014, CPPC is intentionally small by design with an experienced staff and operates on weekdays. In the last 2–3 years the organization has shown measurable program growth and fundraising activity, including participation in local giving campaigns and community fundraisers and media features to raise awareness of its services for adults with developmental disabilities.
