About CUSH EMPOWERMENT GROUP

Cush Empowerment Group (doing business as Empower One) is a Dallas-based 501(c)(3) faith organization that equips indigenous Christian leaders to plant churches, operate schools, and deliver community services across South Sudan, Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Notable achievements

Opened Nimule Flagship Church (2023) & School (2024)

Empower One opened its first Flagship church in Nimule in 2023; membership grew from about 150 at opening to roughly 250 within six months. In March 2024 the site opened a secondary school serving about 260 students and employing local staff, and installed community water taps serving widows, orphans, and other vulnerable residents.

Flagship Church-Multiplication Model (Vision 2032)

The organization formalized a multi-site Flagship model and launched Vision 2032, a plan to establish up to 15 flagship centers across South Sudan, Sudan, and DR Congo that combine church planting, theological training, schools, clean water, and local health/pharmacy services.
