About Transplant Life Foundation

The Transplant Life Foundation (founded 2011) is a national nonprofit based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, that advocates for and supports transplant recipients, living donors, donor families, caregivers, transplant professionals, and individuals on transplant waiting lists. It organizes major community programs (most notably the biannual Transplant Games of America), publishes TransplantNATION magazine, and runs awareness, education, and fundraising initiatives to grow donor registries and improve quality of life for those touched by transplantation. In the last 2–3 years the foundation has actively produced TransplantNATION (moving to a digital subscription option in 2025), supported the 2024 Transplant Games of America, and launched targeted fundraising and outreach campaigns (including HonorLife virtual challenges and veteran travel-stipend efforts) while continuing regular programmatic work and national advocacy. The organization files Form 990s and reports annual financials (most recently reporting year-end 2024 financial activity).
