SEEQS FOUNDATION

The SEEQS Foundation is the registered nonprofit supporting organization for SEEQS: the School for Examining Essential Questions of Sustainability, a public charter school in Honolulu. The foundation’s role is primarily philanthropic—raising and managing contributions and other resources that directly support the school’s programs, campus needs, and long-term sustainability. The Foundation operates with an independent volunteer board of professionals from law, engineering, finance, and nonprofit sectors that fundraises, manages grants, and oversees fiscal stewardship in support of SEEQS’s educational mission. In recent filings the Foundation reported meaningful contributions and investment income that increased its net assets, allowing it to underwrite program continuity and growth for SEEQS. Over the last 2–3 years the Foundation has continued active fundraising and donor engagement to support SEEQS’s operations and programmatic work. That support contributed to the school’s continued recognition for innovation in sustainability-focused education and helped sustain the school’s project-based programming for middle school students.
