About HOPE 4 Youth

HOPE 4 Youth is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Anoka County, Minnesota, that serves young people ages 16–24 who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness in the northern Twin Cities metro area. The organization provides a combination of drop-in center services, case management, short-term rental assistance, host-home placements, and transitional housing. In recent years HOPE 4 Youth has expanded its reach and partnerships to strengthen housing stability and youth engagement. During 2023 the organization reported serving several hundred youth through center visits, meals, laundry and clothing services, and reports strong short‑term housing outcomes for youth engaged in services. HOPE 4 Youth also secured state and local funding to support development of an expanded drop-in center and related service capacity.

In 2023 HOPE 4 Youth reported serving roughly 493 youth with more than 3,600 center visits; the organization reported that about 82% of youth engaged with services obtained or maintained stable housing within six months of engagement.

HOPE Place transitional housing

Operates HOPE Place, a transitional housing program (including a 12-unit facility) alongside rapid rehousing and Host Homes placements, providing case management and supports that help youth move to and maintain stable housing.

Secured public funding for center expansion

Received legislative and county-level funding/support in recent years to develop and expand a dedicated homeless youth drop-in center and related services, strengthening capacity and partnerships for prevention and rapid rehousing.
