About Behavioral Treatment Services, Inc.
Behavioral Treatment Services (BTS) is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2014 that provides mental health and substance-use treatment tailored to people involved in the criminal justice system. BTS operates outpatient, residential, jail-based, and court-linked programs across multiple Colorado sites and accepts Medicaid for many services.
In recent years BTS has expanded capacity and program offerings (including the STIRT short-term high-intensity substance use program and enhanced DUI education/treatment tracks), maintained multi-site operations across the Denver‑Boulder region and beyond, and operated client scholarship efforts to reduce financial barriers to court‑ordered care.
