Ready Set Smile PA

Ready Set Smile PA is a Minneapolis-based nonprofit that operates school- and early-childhood-site dental clinics and delivers culturally competent oral-health education to children in underserved communities. The organization provides preventative and atraumatic dental care at low or no cost and employs community health workers who speak Spanish, Hmong, and Somali to reduce access barriers. Over the last several years Ready Set Smile has scaled partnerships with Minneapolis–St. Paul area schools and early childhood programs, delivered classroom oral-health curricula, and developed referral pathways to follow-up dental care. Recent program reporting for the 2022–2023 school year documents direct clinical services and educational reach across dozens of schools and early childhood sites, and the organization continues to collaborate with local dental providers, foundations, and university partners to expand access and measure impact.
