About EARTH LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL

Earth League International (ELI) is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Los Angeles that applies professional intelligence, field investigations, research and analysis to combat transnational environmental and wildlife crime. The organization focuses on identifying and investigating high-level traffickers and criminal networks, and on the convergence between environmental crime and other serious offenses. ELI operates through a combination of covert and overt investigations, intelligence analysis, targeted reporting, and secure whistleblowing tools, and works with law enforcement, governmental partners, NGOs and the media to push for prosecutions, policy changes, and improved enforcement. Over the last several years ELI has published investigative reports, supported documentary productions, and expanded its whistleblowing and reporting initiatives to expose trafficking networks. The organization is an active, donor-facing charity with published annual filings (most recently a Form 990 filed for tax year 2024) and a public web presence documenting recent investigations and reports (including a 2024 investigative report titled “Operation Fake Gold” and high-profile media coverage in 2023).
