About IEDUCATE USA

iEducate USA (stylized iEducate) is a Houston-area 501(c)(3) education nonprofit that places paid College Readiness Mentors alongside classroom teachers to provide whole-class support, small-group tutoring, and co-teaching in high-need elementary schools. The organization operates a scalable mentoring/tutoring model intended to strengthen student learning outcomes while offering leadership and early-career teacher experience to young adults.

Since incorporation (tax-exempt in 2014) iEducate has worked in partnership with school districts and community partners to expand services; recent activity includes a multi-school tutoring partnership with Houston ISD that began in late 2022/2023, participation in AmeriCorps VISTA programming, and continued program growth reflected in its most recent Form 990 filing (fiscal 2023), which shows program-service-driven revenues and substantial program delivery scale. The organization is led by CEO Arun Gir and reports program metrics and operational growth through public filings and partner announcements.

In late 2022 iEducate launched a paid tutoring/co-teaching partnership with Houston Independent School District to place high-school and college students as tutors across 60+ high-need elementary campuses beginning January 2023, expanding paid opportunities and direct classroom support for students.

Program growth reflected in FY2023 finances

The organization’s most recent IRS filing (fiscal 2023) documents multi‑million-dollar program revenues and sizable program-service expenditures, indicating substantial operational scale and continued delivery of education services.
