EAST GRAND RAPIDS PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION COUNCIL

The East Grand Rapids Parent Teacher Organization Council (PTO) is the volunteer-run 501(c)(3) parent organization that supports East Grand Rapids schools, with an active presence at the middle school and affiliated PTO groups at other district schools. The PTO organizes fundraising, provides teacher and classroom grants, and coordinates volunteers to enhance student learning and school events.

In recent years the council has continued its signature fundraising and engagement activities (most notably the annual EGRMS Regatta), provided recurring classroom/enrichment funding (reported at roughly $35,000+ per year for middle-school enrichments), and maintained an active board and membership program. The organization accepts public donations for school programs and publishes meeting schedules, board members, and program descriptions on the district PTO pages.
