About HYPOTHEKIDS INC

HYPOTHEkids is a West Harlem–based STEAM education and youth development nonprofit founded in 2013 as the outreach arm of the Harlem Biospace biotech incubator. The organization partners with scientists, research labs, and academic institutions to deliver hands-on curricula, mentorship, and employer‑responsive training for K–12 students from low‑resource communities. HYPOTHEkids operates classroom and out‑of‑school programs (including a packaged K–8 curriculum of “HYPOTHEkits”), and places older students in paid summer internships and other work‑based learning opportunities with life‑science employers. In recent years the organization has grown program delivery through grant‑funded partnerships and reports having served tens of thousands of young people since its founding.
