About INTERNATIONAL PROMISE FOUNDATION

International Promise Foundation (IPF) is a donor-facing 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Byron Center, Michigan, that supports children and vulnerable families in developing countries through child sponsorship, direct support to orphanage campuses and schools, and community development programs. Long-term residential care at Samaritan Children’s Home

Campus infrastructure and program expansions

Donor-funded capital projects completed under IPF support include the Joy Hostel for young adults (completed 2014), a science/classroom building (2017), staff housing (2021), an electrical/transformer building (Light Us Up project, 2022), a technology upgrade supplying new PCs and classroom resources (2023), and a new vehicle added in 2024 to support campus operations.

Emergency relief and sustainability projects

IPF partnered with HELP Bangladesh on COVID-era relief (Love Thy Neighbor food relief) providing food and emergency support to families and staff, and has implemented sustainability initiatives such as a chicken project and microcredit/vocational programs aimed at food security and income-generation for families and staff.
