About GIVE US PAWS

Give Us Paws is a Houston, Texas–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that trains and certifies existing companion dogs as service animals for disabled handlers, with priority given to veterans suffering from PTSD, TBI, MST, and mobility impairments. The organization offers an 8–12 month, individualized training program that combines private lessons, public access training, and disability-specific task training using positive, clicker-based methods.

The charity emphasizes measurable, handler-centered outcomes and standards-aligned training to improve veterans' quality of life and community participation.
