About Richard Lambert Foundation Family Grief & Healing Center
Richard Lambert Foundation (RLF) is a Brighton, Colorado-based 501(c)(3) grief center that provides affordable, bereavement-focused counseling and peer support for children, adults, and families.
Founded by bereaved parents and named for their son Richard, RLF delivers individual counseling, monthly support groups, therapeutic workshops and creative-expression programs designed to reduce financial barriers to grief care.
Notable achievements
10‑Year Milestone (2013–2023)
RLF reached its tenth anniversary in 2023, marking a decade of locally delivered grief services and community-based programming since receiving nonprofit status.
Sustained Affordable Access
Maintained a sliding-fee counseling model and multiple complimentary monthly support groups to preserve long-term access for families facing financial barriers.
Volunteer & Community Impact (2023)
In 2023 volunteers contributed over 1,100 hours to support programming and events, reflecting sustained community engagement in service delivery and fundraising.
