Women Cross DMZ mobilizes women globally for peace on the Korean Peninsula through education, advocacy, and organizing, and promotes women’s meaningful inclusion in peace processes.
About Women Cross DMZ
Women Cross DMZ is a U.S.-based, donor-facing 501(c)(3) nonprofit that organizes, educates, and advocates for an official end to the Korean War and for women’s leadership in peace processes. The organization uses transnational delegation trips, policy advocacy, public education, and coalition-building to advance a peace-first approach to the Korean peninsula.
In the last 2–3 years Women Cross DMZ has maintained active programming and public engagement: it co-hosted the inaugural Feminist Peace Summit (May 1–3, 2024), published the report "Women’s Rights Under the Division System in Korea," and organized a 10-Year Anniversary Solidarity Trek to Korea in 2025. The organization continues legislative advocacy (including coordinated Korea Peace Advocacy Week with hundreds of constituent meetings) and produces research and public education materials to influence policymakers and build grassroots support for a peace agreement.

10‑Year Anniversary Solidarity Trek (2025)
Organized a 10-year anniversary delegation trip to Korea in 2025 that commemorated the 2015 crossing, brought U.S.-based feminist peace leaders to meet Korean civil society partners, and strengthened transnational organizing and advocacy for a formal end to the Korean War.
Research & Advocacy Publications (2023–2025)
Published research and policy materials including the report “Women’s Rights Under the Division System in Korea” and sustained advocacy campaigns (e.g., Korea Peace Advocacy Week) that mobilized over 150 constituents from 29 states and supported more than 70 meetings with Congressional offices to press for peace-focused legislation and policy.
