About Vail Valley Art Guild
The Vail Valley Art Guild (VVAG) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit formed in 2014 to support and promote visual artists across Eagle County. The membership-focused organization operates a primary public gallery (Art Guild at Avon) and programs that create exhibition, education, and sales opportunities for local artists working in all media.
VVAG runs regular exhibitions, workshops, library shows and community outreach with the explicit goals of connecting artists, sponsoring classes and supporting visual-arts education for youth and underserved residents. In recent years the Guild expanded its public presence by establishing the Art Guild at Avon (a partnership with the Town of Avon) and by increasing seasonal workshop and youth programming.

Founded in 2014 to fill a valley-wide need for an artist-created organization; has grown into an active membership organization serving artists of all ages and media.
Art Guild at Avon — Avon partnership (2024)
In 2024 VVAG partnered with the Town of Avon to open and rebrand a public gallery and workspace (Art Guild at Avon), increasing gallery presence and program capacity in the heart of the valley.
Expanded program activity and library exhibits
Built recurring partnerships with Eagle County public libraries, Colorado Mountain College and other local venues to present rotating exhibits, themed shows and outreach programs that raise visibility for member artists.
