WISE READERS TO LEADERS

Wise Readers to Leaders is a Los Angeles–based 501(c)(3) founded to provide free literacy and enrichment programming for K–8 students from Title I schools, combining summer literacy instruction with mentorship and parent workshops. The organization operates year-round programs that include volunteer-driven classroom instruction, teen leadership opportunities, and family engagement to support scholar academic growth and confidence. In recent years the organization has grown its budget and operations — reporting increased revenue and expanded program funding — and has received public and philanthropic support to scale services across Los Angeles. Wise Readers to Leaders maintains publicly available Form 990 filings and has cultivated partnerships with local schools, community groups, and book-donation programs to strengthen program delivery and extend student impact.
