About COLORADO VETERANS PROJECT

Colorado Veterans Project (CVP) is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (federal tax-exempt since 2015) that raises funds and runs large community events to support veteran career development, training scholarships, and peer-focused programs across the state.

CVP is best known for signature public events that both commemorate service and generate program funding; it also awards scholarships and seed grants to vetted veteran-serving training and transition programs and partners with municipal and nonprofit stakeholders to broaden reach and impact.

In the last 2–3 years CVP has continued operating its annual events calendar (including the Denver Veterans Day Run, Parade & Festival and the Freedom 4-Miler) while providing targeted scholarship and seed funding to programs that upskill veterans and transition-ready service members.

Notable achievements
