About Mustang Ambassador Program

Mustang Ambassador Program is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that uses rescued and trained mustangs as teaching partners in equine-assisted learning programs focused on leadership, life skills, and personal development.

Founded in the mid-2010s and operating from the Calhan/Colorado Springs area, MAP runs youth leadership camps, instructional courses, boarding and training services, and community outreach while maintaining a focus on equine welfare and volunteer engagement. In recent years MAP has maintained formal nonprofit status, submitted annual IRS filings, and received state-level equine welfare support to expand education and veterinary outreach.
