About SQUASH AND EDUCATION ALLIANCE INTERNATIONAL INC

Squash and Education Alliance International Inc (SEA International) is the international arm of the Squash and Education Alliance network, supporting and partnering with squash-and-education programs worldwide that combine sport, academics, mentoring and college/career support. As of 2025 the SEA network reported a membership of roughly 21 U.S. programs and seven international partners, serving more than 2,500 students from under-resourced communities and coordinating exchanges, grantmaking, program development, and fundraising support for partner organizations abroad.

Notable achievements

Strong post‑secondary outcomes

SEA reports that the large majority of students who remain in member programs enroll in post‑secondary education (reported at approximately 94% for students who stay in the network), with roughly one‑third attending top‑100 colleges and hundreds of alumni competing on varsity squash teams.

Network growth and new partners (2023–2025)

SEA expanded its network and international reach in recent years — adding new U.S. member programs (for example Mission Success joining SEA in 2024) and welcoming international partners including Squash Dreamers (Jordan) and the Nicol David Organization (Malaysia), while member organizations opened or upgraded multi‑court community facilities.

Targeted grantmaking to scale impact

Through directed grantmaking (including a partnership with philanthropic funders), SEA provided program development and expansion grants to member and international partner organizations, initiatives SEA reports helped more than double the number of individuals impacted annually by the network in grant periods referenced on SEA materials.
