About Adelante Community Development
Adelante Community Development is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 46-5745662) based in the Denver metro area that provides culturally responsive business training, technical assistance, and community-centered programs for Latino and Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs and families.
The organization runs entrepreneurship training cohorts, food-truck incubation, digitalization initiatives, and community health outreach while pursuing a capital campaign to create Luminaria, a multi-use community hub for kitchens, classrooms, a food pantry, and workforce space.
In the last 2–3 years Adelante has expanded its digital services and health equity work, scaled outreach and events (including the Latina Convention and EmprendEXPO), and increased funded programming through foundation and government partnerships.
Notable achievements
Luminaria facility campaign
Secured a site and launched a multi‑million dollar campaign to build Luminaria, a 4,300 sq. ft. community hub with shared kitchens, classrooms, a food pantry and workforce/business space to broaden service capacity.
Expanded health outreach (2023)
Rapidly scaled community health outreach activities—distributing vaccines, home tests, masks and sanitizer, training community navigators and delivering COVID education—reaching thousands through events and partnerships.
Program growth and funding scale
Significant growth in funded programming and institutional support in recent years, enabling increased cohorts, digital services and convenings and partnerships with major local foundations to expand impact.
