About COASTAL COMMUNITY HEALTH INC

Coastal Community Health, Inc. is a not-for-profit regional affiliation created to support and coordinate the operations of locally governed hospital systems in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. The organization acts as a cooperative vehicle for Baptist Health and Southeast Georgia Health System to pursue shared services, clinical collaboration and system-wide efficiencies. Coastal Community Health focuses on several collaborative initiatives — including healthy kids programs, telehealth and disaster planning — that are designed to improve patient access, clinical quality, and operational value for the communities the affiliated systems serve. Governance and executive leadership draw from both partner systems to oversee integration efforts while allowing each health system to remain locally governed.
