About Denver Regional Fund, Inc.

Denver Regional Fund (DRF) is the nonprofit arm of the Denver Burning Man regional community that raises and distributes funds to support local creative projects, community-facing art, and regional event production across Colorado.

DRF organizes annual regional events (notably Denver DeCOmp and the Colorado Burnal Equinox), operates a tiered financial support program for community groups and artists, and makes grants/underwritings that reinforce the Burning Man 10 Principles in the local community.

Notable achievements

Sustained regional events

Continues to produce major regional gatherings (Denver DeCOmp annually and Colorado Burnal Equinox in spring) that sustain the local Burning Man community and provide platforms for participatory art; recent examples include Denver DeCOmp in October 2023 and Colorado Burnal Equinox events in 2024–2025.

Established tiered funding program

Designed and implemented a three-tier financial support model (repayable short-term loans, $5,000 grants, and event underwriting) to provide targeted, nimble financial assistance to Colorado projects and events.

Repeated artist funding and community donations

Has a track record of distributing artist funding and donating event proceeds to local causes and art projects to strengthen community art infrastructure in the Denver region.
