La Clínica del Pueblo

La Clínica del Pueblo (EIN 47-1805672) is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit community clinic based in Carbondale, Colorado that offers bilingual primary care, preventive services and community health programming for uninsured and underserved populations. The organization began as a volunteer-run clinic in 2016 and has grown into a small, locally rooted clinic with expanded clinic hours and on-site behavioral health and lab services.

In the last 2–3 years La Clínica has completed a remodel and expanded clinical capacity with support from local funders, launched SanaMente (a community-led, Spanish-language mental health program in partnership with the Renée Crown Wellness Institute), and increased offerings of practical health-promotion programs such as plant-based cooking classes and Shop with a Doc.

All clinical and program information is delivered bilingually and the clinic emphasizes language access, culturally relevant care, sliding-scale fees and services provided free to people who cannot pay.
