About NORTHEAST TRANSPORTATION CONNECTIONS

Northeast Transportation Connections (NETC) is a Denver-based nonprofit Transportation Management Association that partners with public agencies, employers, and community groups to reduce solo driving and expand access to walking, biking, transit and shared-ride services in northeast Denver and adjacent communities. In the last 2–3 years NETC has operated and expanded neighborhood microtransit pilots, administered employer commute programs (Way to Go region initiatives), and launched equity-focused mobility services and e-bike lending programs designed to serve transit-reliant and transportation-insecure residents. NETC regularly contracts with municipal and regional partners (City and County of Denver, RTD, DRCOG and state transportation programs) to deliver targeted, place-based mobility solutions and has been included in regional TDM and multimodal planning efforts.

Notable achievements

Neighborhood microtransit pilot expansion

Designed and operated neighborhood microtransit shuttles connecting transit-reliant communities to major transit stations and employment centers; pilots were expanded through multi-year agreements with municipal partners.

E-bike library implementation

Implemented community e-bike lending programs and libraries to broaden active-transportation options; the e-bike effort has been documented as a federal case study on micromobility integration.

Regional partnerships and funding wins

Secured competitive municipal and transit-agency contracts and pilot funding to scale targeted mobility services and equity programs across northeast Denver and neighboring jurisdictions.
