About ELIZABETH CADY STANTON AND SUSAN B ANTHONY STATUE FUND INC
The Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B Anthony Statue Fund, commonly known by its campaign name Monumental Women, is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit formed to place statues and public art honoring women and to run education and outreach programs that write women back into the historical record. The organization successfully commissioned and gifted the Women’s Rights Pioneers Monument (Sojourner Truth, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony) to New York City’s Central Park, which was unveiled on August 26, 2020.
Public records and nonprofit registries confirm the organization operates under EIN 47-2024154 and maintains an active web presence and donor-facing programs. In the last 2–3 years Monumental Women has continued education and outreach work (including a public toolkit and museum-scale maquette efforts), launched an Augusta Savage initiative to honor the Harlem Renaissance sculptor, and held Moving History Forward events and coalition-building activities across 2024–2025.
