About Crested Butte Development Team
Crested Butte Development Team (CB Devo) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth development organization based in the Gunnison Valley that uses mountain biking as a vehicle to teach bike-handling skills and life skills in a fun, non‑competitive setting.
Programs span early‑childhood through U19/high‑school levels and emphasize trail etiquette, community, safety, and personal growth rather than performance metrics; CB Devo runs seasonal camps, skills clinics, trips, and preparatory programming for high‑school league racers.
In recent years the organization has expanded its program offerings and fundraising activities (merchandise sales and annual donation drives) to keep participation fees accessible for local families and to support specialty trips and youth advancement opportunities.
