Ekmeles is a New York–based 501(c)(3) vocal ensemble whose mission is to present, commission, and teach new and rarely-heard works for small vocal ensemble—with a special focus on microtonal repertoire—and to expand the voice’s role in contemporary musical culture.

Presented numerous world and U.S. premieres by leading contemporary composers (including John Luther Adams, Zosha Di Castri, Georg Friedrich Haas, Hannah Kendall, and others) and sustained collaborations with ensembles and institutions at home and abroad.
