Since 2022 Mission implemented a veterinary social work program and by 2023 expanded to include a full-time licensed master social worker, providing one-on-one assistance, grief counseling and referrals for hundreds of families each year.

Education and high-volume spay/neuter impact

Mission operates an award-winning Junior Vets high-school work-study partnership and a veterinary student education program (hosting dozens of students annually) while running weekly high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter events in partnership with more than 100 rescues and shelters.
