Mission Animal Hospital

Mission Animal Hospital is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit full-service veterinary hospital based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota that delivers subsidized and sliding-scale medical, urgent and surgical care to pet owners with limited financial resources while also serving as a teaching hospital. The organization operates high-volume spay/neuter events, urgent care services, a veterinary student externship program, and a Junior Vets high-school work-study program. Founded in 2014 (relocated to Eden Prairie in 2015), Mission has expanded its programs and community partnerships in recent years. Recent annual reporting shows the hospital handles tens of thousands of pet visits each year, provides donor-subsidized care measured in the millions of dollars annually, and has added on-site social work and expanded education initiatives to support clients and train future veterinarians.
