PEF-US

PEF-US is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) public charity that raises and channels donations to the Professional Education Foundation’s scholarship program serving underprivileged students in Pakistan. The organization operates as a sister entity to PEF (thepef.com), disbursing donor funds to partner universities to cover tuition and boarding for eligible students.

Founded in 2009 and organized in the United States as a tax-exempt entity (Tax ID/EIN 47-3730217), PEF-US reports regular Form 990 filings and maintains an active web presence describing its programs, partner universities and impact. In recent years the charity has increased fundraising and scholarship activity, reporting multi-hundred-thousand-dollar annual revenues and supporting hundreds of scholarship recipients through partnerships with Pakistani universities (the PEF network reports participation from roughly 41 partner institutions).
